I can't believe how October just flew right by... I was sort of bummed we didn't dress up for Halloween. I told my boyfriend that next year it's a must. We just had so much going on this year. My step sister had her wedding on saturday anyway, so by the time we were done with that it would have been a really late start to the Halloween celebration. I'm sure we could go to some local bar or something having a costume contest.
Anyway, the wedding was ok... kind of awkward because I didn't really know anyone except my step sister, step mother, dad and kind of know the cousins but I haven't seen them in years. Sunday we were lazy lazy bums... it was nice but at the same time I felt like I should have got something done. So when Monday came around I did NOT want to do anything... I could barely even wake up. I called in to work. I just felt exhausted and sore and in need of rest for my wellness. The bf and I had a plan to bbq anyway for halloween night dinner, so that's what we did. We got to start earlier since I was off and I picked up the groceries for the marinade and bbqing. We had steak salads, they were SO delicious! I think we're having tritip salads tomorrow with the leftover tritip we made also yesterday. I can't wait. Trying to get more protein and veggies in my diet since I've been doing weightlifting for my lower half (squats, bridges and soon to start deadlifts), but also good fats. I planned out my meals for this week and now I just realized I forgot to start dinner in the crock pot lol! I'll have to go on my lunch time to do it. Blargh!
So I feel much better after taking yesterday off. Now to get back to work!
